Meet Lara

Lara works with young people aged 13 - 19, helping them to identify who they really are and discover what they are really passionate about, key ingredients to achieving potential and living happy and fulfilled lives.

In today’s modern society, young people are bombarded with mixed messages and expectations about how they should behave, how they should look and what they should achieve in their education.  Those that struggle to measure up, to these often impossible expectations, can become disillusioned with life and disconnected from the person they really are.  If support is not given to these young people, they are at risk of depression, dis-ordered eating, self-harm and drug and alcohol misuse, as they battle with negative thoughts and emotions.

Lara works with young people 1:1 and with small groups, in schools, training providers and also on behalf of parents.  Her work is suited to those who are at risk of failing to achieve their potential, and those who want to learn powerful new ways of thinking, which will benefit them in the long term.  To hear from people who have worked with Lara click HERE

For the last 15 years Lara has dedicated her career to working with young people.  She has worked in schools and youth centres, and with those who are unemployed, helping them to identify goals and aspirations, and take the steps towards achieving their potential.  She is a trained careers adviser and personal performance coach.  For more information about Lara click HERE

Lara is creator of the SHIFT programme, designed especially for teenage girls, out of her concern for the pressure so many feel in today's society to achieve perfection in their appearance and education.  She delivers this to individuals and small groups.  For further information about SHIFT click HERE

Summer SHIFT workshops take place in Dorset in July! Click
